"Meandering Way"

Plein Air Oil on Linen

10x8

I painted this on a March trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. It was one of the few non-windy, sunny days, so I got to paint this entirely in the snow. The only thing that bothered me was the glare from the snow. I loved the way the river "meandered" through the snow and the color of it from all the pine trees reflecting was so beautiful!
