"A Streak of Sunlight"

Oil on Linen

I went on the Black Canyon Falls hike in Rocky Mountain National Park and this is one of the beautiful scenes of the river that we saw. We never made it to the actual falls, after hiking 3 1/2 miles, because the path had been destroyed by the flood from several years ago. It was beautiful anyway! I immediately went to Safeway and bought Epsom salts. It was worth every ache and pain. This was one of the demonstrations I did at my oil workshop at Artists' Showplace Gallery last November.
